The contest of architecture design for the Ba Sang Island Eco-tourism project being hold by

Duc Khai Corporation received 16 contesting articles from 13 domestic and foreign candidates. The judges chose 5 excellent articles in order to join in the presentation contest on February 22nd, 2012. - On February 22nd, 2012, all of the candidates had different designs with their own charming identities. The designs still kept

general idea of the future Ba Sang Island’s image not only having charming beauty but also maintaining the balance of ecosystem, preserving the nature of Phuoc Long Pagoda site (the third Chau Doc)... With all the desires, Ba Sang Island – a new tourism destination in Vietnam, the judges gave the candidates many in-depth questions to improve their designs which ensured for the effective investment and regional planning standard.
 

After a hardworking day, the judges who gave the mark transparently announced public results like below:
- The top prize: do not have.
 + Reason: none of the candidates adjust the judges’ request.
- The second prize: two of the second prize.
1. Allies between Yedahm Construction Company and Sunjin Vietnam Corp.
2. Design Consultant and Construction Investment Co., Ltd. – Ministry of Defence.
- The third prize:
 + Design Consultant and Construction Investment Co., Ltd. – Ministry of Defence.

General information of the winner prizes:
- Yedahm Construction Company and Sunjin Vietnam Corp are Korean companies that have capacity not only in planning and design but also in architecture design of eco-tourism zone, the examples of constructions: Brazil Shipyards, SPP Shipbuilding, HHI Shipbuilding, DeaBul Harbour, Cai Mep Harbour...

- Design Consultant and Construction Investment Co., Ltd. – Ministry of Defence is the company that have many experiences in planning, designing for massive projects. This candidate has 4 contesting articles including 2 articles which have the second and the third prize in The contest of architecture design projects for the Ba Sang Island’s tourism zone, the examples of constructions: Hanoi urban park software, Vincom Village urban ecology, Thac Kem eco-tourism zone belonging to Mu Mat National Park, Cua Hien tourism zone.... They have the prizes below:

- The first prize:
 + The project of Vietnam Czech Republic Friendship Hospital
 + General Department of Taxation Hanoi
 + The offices, apartments and supermarkets of Hoan Kiem Hanoi
- The second prize:
 + Da Nang Viettel Building
 + Hipt Tower versatile office
 

- Mr. Pham Ngoc Lam, the Chairman of the Board and the representation of Investor, gave the speech congratulating the winners in this contest with whom Duc Khai Corporation would make the priority to develop the projects in the next stage. In addition, these candidates had to complete their contesting article based on the judge’s comments.
